Spartanburg County’s semi-annual Community Clean-Up Event

Community Cleanup

Spartanburg County’s semi-annual Community Clean-Up Event will be held March 31st and April 1st from 8 AM until 3 PM at our NEW LOCATION, 540 Allen St. in Woodruff. This Clean-Up Event is a service the County provides to Spartanburg residents who may live further from the landfill, or find a trip to the landfill inconvenient; we offer a convenient “one stop shop” to dispose of materials that are typically only accepted at the landfill or at limited recycling centers. We will be accepting furniture (including mattresses), construction and demolition materials, yard debris (i.e. small limbs, shrubs, leaves), up to 5 tires per household, as well as scrap metal, appliances, and electronics at this event. We are only accepting material from Spartanburg County residents, and will not be accepting any materials from businesses, or from out-of-county residents. We do not accept hazardous materials, burned materials, household trash, liquids, or paints at this event. The Community Clean-Up event is open to all Spartanburg County residents, and it is free! Please call us at 949-1658 if you have questions.
