Keep America Beautiful, Inc, (KAB) presented top honors to South Carolina affiliates and to Jamie Nelson, Director of Spartanburg County Environmental Enforcement Agency, at its national conference this week. Jamie Nelson received the Law Enforcement Award for his leadership in Spartanburg County and for his service as a two-term president of the SC Litter Control Association. This award honors those law enforcement professionals who have exceeded the duty requirements expected of their position and have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service in their approaches to enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.
