  3. Receive information and take desired action in reference to Appalachian Council of Governments' Board. (Appoint or re-appoint members to this body for a two year term to expire January 2003. Currently serving: Frank Nutt, Rock Adams, David Britt.)
  4. Receive information and take desired action regarding vacancies on various Boards and Commissions:
    1. Alcohol/Drug Abuse Commission
    2. Arcadia Fire
    3. Building Code Board of Appeals
    4. CDBG Citizens Advisory Committee
    5. Citizens Advisory Committee
    6. EMS Advisory Committee
    7. Emergency Communications Advisory Committee
    8. Employee Grievance Committee
    9. Enoree Fire District Board
    10. Fire Prevention and Protection Advisory Committee
    11. Health Services District Board
    12. Planning Commission
    13. Water and Sewer Advisory Committee
  1. Pursuant to Council Rules of Procedure, Section 2-6, Council shall appoint a County Attorney at its first regularly scheduled meeting in January following each general election, who shall serve at the pleasure of Council.
