Term: 2 years
Purpose:
The County Board of Health is vested with all rights, duties, privileges,
and responsibilities that are now
imposed by law upon local Boards of Health incorporated cities, towns and
villages, and such other duties as
are prescribed in this section. Provided, however, that in carrying
out all powers, duties, etc., herein
prescribed the County Board of Health shall control and direct the activities
of the County Health Department
through the Director of the County Health Department, who controls the
Departments of Communicable
Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Immunization, Venereal Disease Treatment,
Restaurant Inspection,
Septic Tank Inspection, Public Health as related to the health of the Citizens
of the County.
Meetings: Bi-Monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
