Members: 9 Resident electors of Spartanburg County appointed by County Council
   
Terms: 4 years (Initial appt. (4) members will have two year terms and five (5) members will have 4 year terms.).
   
Purpose: "It is the purpose of the Board to plan, develop, coordinate, improve, and advocate for community services for persons of Spartanburg County with mental retardation, related disabilities, head injuries, or spinal cord injuries so that they will be able to participate as valued members of their communities to the maximum extent practical and to live with their families or in family settings in the community in the least restrictive environment available."
   
Meetings: 1st Monday of each month - 4:00 p.m. - Conference Room #1.
