The Economic Recruitment and Development Committee of Spartanburg County Council met on Monday, September 11, 2000, in Conference Room Two of the County Administrative Office Building. The following were present: Honorable David Britt, Chairman; Honorables Frank Nutt and Ken Huckaby Members; Honorables Karen Floyd, Jeff Horton, Johnnye Code Stewart and Rock Adams, Council members. Also in attendance were James K. Hartmann, County Administrator; Bill Dennis, Deputy County Administrator; Glenn Breed, Assistant County Administrator; and Roy McBee Smith, County Attorney.

1. Chairman Britt called the meeting to order.
2. A. Information was received regarding a proposed Ordinance to amend Ordinance Number O-99-014 relating to the Joint County Industrial and Business Park (Park No. 2) of Cherokee and Spartanburg Counties so as to enlarge the park. Motion by Mr. Huckaby to recommend to full Council that first reading be rendered by title. Motion seconded by Mr. Nutt and carried.
