The Public Health and Human Services Committee of Spartanburg County Council met on Monday, January 17, 2000, Conference Room Two, County Administrative Office Building. The following were present: Honorable Johnnye Code Stewart, Chairman; along with Ken Huckaby and Jeff Horton, Committee Members. Also in attendance were the Honorables Karen Floyd, David Britt, Frank Nutt and Rock Adams, Council Members; along with James K. Hartmann, County Administrator; Glenn Breed, Assistant County Administrator; and Roy McBee Smith, County Attorney.

I. Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order.

2. Mr. Everett Powers and Ms. Jennifer Evins appeared to provide an update on the Spartanburg International Swiss Cultural Exchange Program. This was received as information only with no action taken.
