The County Attorney’s Office provides legal counsel to the County Council, the County Administrator, and all County offices, departments, agencies, commissions and boards. The County Attorney’s Office also represents the county in matters of litigation. All legal work is civil in nature. All criminal matters are prosecuted by the Solicitor’s Office.
