Wellford Landfill Citizens’ Committee Bi-Annual Meeting

A Wellford Landfill Citizens’ Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 6:00 PM at the Wellford Landfill Operations and Maintenance Building located at 595 Little Mountain Road, Wellford, SC. The public is invited to attend. We will discuss the operation of the new Phase VI Cell 1 expansion.

Mr. Nathan Williams and Mr. Larry Armstrong from S&ME, Inc. will present results from the Spring and Fall 2007 groundwater monitoring. The construction of the new Citizen Convenience Center will also be discussed.

Mr. Mike Garrett, Public Works Director (595-5330), Jason Weaver Solid Waste Manager (949-0211) and Fran Creel, Environmental Engineer (595-5349) will also be present to respond to any questions or concerns you may have.
