BOILING SPRINGS TEEN RECEIVES LIFE PRISON SENTENCE FOR FATAL DRIVE-BY A Boiling Springs teen received a life prison sentence today after he took responsibility for a fatal drive-by shooting on Spartanburg’s west side. Sok Bun, 18, pleaded guilty to the Oct. 12, 2006 murder of Cleve L. Jeter, 24, of Spartanburg. Jeter was shot to death about 11:30 p.m. at a Hunter Philson Drive home. The victim sustained a fatal chest wound. Bun fired the fatal shot from the passenger seat of the passing car. Criminal charges are still pending on three people connected to the case. Bun will serve every day of his prison sentence. He is not eligible for parole. Assistant Solicitors Jessica Thill and Robin File prosecuted the case. |
