The Trinity Fire Department is committed to ensuring that the citizens' safety is our highest priority by promoting a standard of excellence within our organization while providing trained and knowledgeable emergency personnel who are appropriately equipped to preserve life and protect property as we respond to the community's growing needs.

We are the largest fire district in Spartanburg County, covering 137 squares which is approximately a fifth of the county. We also respond to 17 miles of Interstate 26 from the 28 mile marker (Hwy 221) to the 45 mile marker (Laurens County line). We operate out of six fire stations – 2 of which are staffed 24 hours a day, 1 is staffed during the daytime hours by part-time employees and the 3 remaining are home response volunteer stations. Out of the six stations, we operate (1) heavy rescue squad, (2) rear mount ladder trucks, (6) engine companies, (1) squad company, (1) tanker, (1) brush truck, (1) ATV, (1) swift water vehicle and (3) chief buggies. We currently have 14 full-time employees (Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, 3 Shift Captains and 9 Firefighters), 14 part-time employees and 7 volunteers.
