Legislative Delegation

The Spartanburg Legislative Delegation members serve constituency in the General Assembly.
The Legislative Delegation office is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of permanent documents regarding the Spartanburg County Legislative Delegation and the Spartanburg County Transportation Committee public meetings according to the South Carolina Code of Laws. The office composes and provides comprehensive administrative and clerical assistance to the fourteen Legislative Delegation members and County Transportation Committee while serving as a liaison between the general public to departmental agencies and organizations.  

The County Transportation Committee (CTC), also known as the C Fund Committee, approves funding to improve and/or resurface existing municipal, state, and county maintained roadways in Spartanburg County.

NOTICE: The Spartanburg County Legislative Delegation meeting for November 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. will be held at the Spartanburg County Council Chambers on 366 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Masks are not mandatory and never were from the Delegation.

All requested presentation agenda items for this meeting are required to be submitted, in writing, to the Spartanburg County Legislative Delegation Office NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2021

Each written agenda item request is to include:    
  • Title of presentation           
  • Presenter's name (and title if applicable)
  • Address
  • Contact telephone number             
Approved agenda items will be permitted five (5) minutes to present, which includes question and answer time.  If you prefer to email your written request, you may do so to:  dculbreth@spartanburgcounty.org.

Individuals who would like to be considered for commission appointments are required to fill out a State Board Application Form and return the original to the Spartanburg County Delegation Office no later than MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2021.

State Board Applications are available online, at the Delegation Office at 366 N. Church St., Room 1210, or you may call the Delegation Office at 864-596-2529 and provide an email or physical address and the application will be sent to you.

Delegation recommends all Applicants attend this meeting.
