The Operations Division of the Spartanburg County Communications / 9-1-1 Department has responsibility for the day-to-day 9-1-1 operations and activities. The division consists of the Deputy Director, Shift Supervisors, Assistant Shift Supervisors, Telecommunicators (I, II, III) , and Call-takers. These are the personnel who physically answer and process the thousands of 9-1-1 calls that are made every year in Spartanburg County.
