Solicitor's Intervention Programs / Expungements
Although created by State Statute, our programs are self- supporting. The Diversion Services programs and staff are under the control and supervision of the 7th Judicial Circuit Solicitor, Barry Barnette. Our operations are made possible by the cooperation of Judicial, Law Enforcement, and Community agencies. There are two Diversion Services offices in the 7th Circuit. They are located in Spartanburg at 180 Magnolia Street and in Gaffney at 312 East Frederick Street. Applicants must apply in the circuit of arrest.
Cases may be handled locally or out of area.
Applications are accepted in Spartanburg on Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and in Gaffney on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ( applications are not accepted on Fridays).
