All Manufactured Homes must start the permitting process in the Spartanburg County Assessor’s Office (Room 800). Once the Assessor’s Office approves the Manufactured Home and all taxes are satisfied through the Treasurer’s Office and Delinquent Tax Office then we may proceed with the permitting process in our office. Anyone wanting to De-Title a Mobile Home must start the process in the Assessor’s Office (Room 800) as well.
Spartanburg County has implemented a new development project tracking and approval program called EnerGov. We are pleased that it includes an online component called Citizen Self Service (CSS).

Anyone will be able to submit concurrently for Planning, Engineering and Building Codes approvals and permitting. It requires registering for an account, then applying for a permit/project approval.
