The $12.6 million parking garage for public and staff will be developed in proximity to the new Courthouse on Library Street. The new precast parking structure with brick inlay will consist of 580 spaces on one ground level and 5 elevated levels, an architectural glass element with pedestrian access to and from the deck, and additional surface parking consisting of 65 spaces. Entry to the surface parking will be through the main level of the garage. This parking structure is architecturally intended to complement the Courthouse design while providing for all public parking needs of the Courthouse. The parking structure will be completed early in the construction phase in order to replace public and employee parking displaced during construction of the courthouse.
