Good afternoon all,
We hope you have been as thrilled as we are about SCC's news regarding free tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year that begins with fall 2021 enrollment.
SAM staff have been receiving questions, and as we realize many of you may be receiving these as well, we are sharing SCC's FAQ document that will provide additional information. I have also attached a graphic that you may wish to share.

Related to SCC's news is the upcoming June 30 deadline for the completion of the FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. SAM has been instrumental in working with partners at SMC, SCC, and USC Upstate to host FAFSA Completion events, designed to help students/families get their forms completed. In response to SCC's announcement, SAM is working to get additional events scheduled.
Please stay tuned for future requests to help promote these events.

If you have not already connected with us on social media, please do so as this is the easiest way to help spread the word. Our social links can be found below the SAM logo in my email signature.
And as a reminder, for those of you who are able to attend the drop-in reception for Jennifer Evins, please remember it is a drop-in from 12:30 - 1:30 PM tomorrow in Mary Black Foundation Pavilion and we will have refreshments. Please park in the lot off Kennedy Street between the Piedmont Club and the Church of the Advent.
Thank you!
