Environmental Enforcement Director Jamie Nelson Receives National Recognition

Keep America Beautiful, Inc, (KAB) presented top honors to South Carolina affiliates and to Jamie Nelson, Director of Spartanburg County Environmental Enforcement Agency, at its national conference this week. Jamie Nelson received the Law Enforcement Award for his leadership in Spartanburg County and for his service as a two-term president of the SC Litter Control Association. This award honors those law enforcement professionals who have exceeded the duty requirements expected of their position and have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service in their approaches to enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.

Keep America Beautiful’s National Awards recognize the passion and dedication of Keep America Beautiful’s affiliates from across the nation as well as partner organizations and individuals who share Keep America Beautiful’s vision of a country where every community is a clean, green and beautiful place to live.
