I am having an issue with feral cats around my home, what can be done about it?
Most wild (feral) cats will have to be trapped in a live animal trap. Once the animal is confined in the live animal trap, It can be picked up by our officer and taken to the Greenville County Animal Care Facility.
Environmental Enforcement Department has and allows citizens to utilize our traps. The citizen will be required to complete and sign our agreement form. While on the citizens property the citizen accepts responsibility for the trap.
Traps are loaned on a first come first service basis. Citizens are welcome to purchase their own trap. Environmental Enforcement officers will remove any feline or canine from the private trap but these will only be done on the following days, Monday-Tuesday- Wednesday. A citizen should call our main office line before 10:00 am on the pick up days.

Animal Control Officers will not remove any trapped animals on Thursday, Friday and weekends.
